The Captain's Quarters was built as a duplex by the US Army c.1902. It was married officers quarters for two Captains and their families. After the fort closed in 1946 all the buildings were sold at public auction and over the years put to various uses. The Captain's Quarters was restored and converted to a Bed & Breakfast in 1988. A passage way was opened between the two sides to create one large Inn. The Inn is a frame structure built in a Classic Resaissance Revival style. It is a pale grey with brilliant white trim. The front faces an open green that was once the Parade Ground. The Chickamauga National Park is across the street from the back of the Inn.
